Recycling Efforts
T-Shirts to Bags
In our efforts to reduce and recycle, Green Minds LFLB regularly helps educate the local community on proper recycling as well as organizes collections of items we can divert from the landfills. In Fall 2019 we collected old t-shirts that we sewed into reusable produce bags.
Oral Care Recycling
In 2019 Green Minds organized an oral care drive, collecting old toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, dental floss holders and the packaging. We send the dental care products to Terracycle, where they will be recycled.

Rethink Recycling
Green Minds LFLB partnered with the City of Lake Forest beginning in 2015 to teach residents how and what to recycle. The City's education campaign continues to be successful, and recycling contamination has decreased significantly in recent years.
